Do This To Help With Hair Loss

Give Your Hair A Work Out And Get Healthy Hair

We work out our bodies - so why not work out our hair?  How does one do that?  A scalp massage either with or without oil.  You can do it yourself or ask a friend to assist.  The key is to massage the scalp and promote circulation to the hair follicles which will then aid in producing healthy hair.

Whether you experiencing hair loss due to  Menopause, Alopecia, Trichotillomania, Alopecia Areata, or Female Pattern Baldness, adding a scalp massage to your routine will surely help hair growth.  In fact, even if your hair is healthy, this massage will help to keep it that way!

I find that women with hair loss tend to avoid touching their scalp in fear of losing more hair, but this will only lead to more Hair Loss. Scalp massage works for all hair textures from fine, thinning to textured hair..  I can not stress enough how important a scalp massage is for everyone!

The above video explains the process and benefits.  You can massage your head with essential oils or salon brand oil.   If the oil is too heavy and your hair is oily, massage without oil.  A scalp that moves is the best environment for hair growth vs. one that is hard to manipulate.  An added benefit is the release of tension so many of us hold in our heads and neck.

Remember consistency is key and you should massage your scalp at least 2 to 3 times per week and overtime your hair and scalp will benefit. An average of between 1/4" to 1/2" hair growth can occur per month and you could possibly double the growth.

There are some effective supplements such as "Nutrafol" which will also assist in hair growth, I have also used the accompanying Nutrafol Growth Activator Serum to my massage!  The activator contains Ashwagandha Exosome which has proven an 85% healthier hair in 30 days.

There are at-home essential oils such as lavender and rosemary, that can be mixed with a carrier oil such as olive oil, jojoba oil, or castor oil which are affordable.  It is important to follow a recipe with the proper amount of ingredients since essential oils can lead to burns and adverse effects

I have witnessed the benefits of scalp massage on both myself and salon clients. I often show my clients the best way to massage and I recommend salons add this to their menu of services.  There really is nothing to lose, but you may be surprised by what you gain!

It is especially important to massage your scalp during the winter months due to dry heat. In this case, it is best to massage your hair dry and allow your natural oils to spread throughout your hair.  There are scalp massages available, but some are too harsh on the scalp, using your fingers and palm is the best option.

Hair Loss background

With Alopecia Areata, fungal infections, other autoimmune diseases, thinning hair by Trichotillomania which removes hair follicles by physical means. At Noelle Salon, we cover the various approaches to hair solutions to treat hair loss, female pattern baldness, balding spots, and other conditions to which you lose hair.

Hair systems and hair extension maintenance is part of the journey while wearing them. For Trichotillomania, as our hair grows they both will loosen, and service is required. The difference between a hair system and hair extensions for Trichotillomania clients varies based on the location of hair loss.
